Taking Care of Your Greens
Spring is fast approaching, which means the grass is growing, and all the hard work by the green keepers throughout the winter months is paying off. Our greens are improving and ready for the start of the competition season, so play your part in keeping the putting surfaces in good condition by repairing pitch marks. Un-repaired pitch marks cause the grass to die within a few hours leaving unsightly marks on the green. Repair your pitch marks and other damage to the greens as you go. The latest Rules of Golf now allow players to repair or restore all damage to the surface of the green without incurring a penalty. See Rule 13.1c.
